8TH EO23 IAC meeting and interface with the NTIPC | The Manila Times

THE Inter-Agency Committee for the Protection of the Freedom of Association and the Right to Organize of Workers under Executive Order No. 23, series of 2023 (EO23 IAC), chaired by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and to which the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) serves as the Vice Chairperson and Secretariat, holds its 8th meeting at the Bonifacio Hall in Malacañan Palace on October 21, 2024.

The Department is represented in the meeting by Labor Secretary and EO23 IAC Vice-Chair Bienvenido Laguesma, Undersecretaries Benedicto Ernesto Bitonio Jr. and Felipe Egargo Jr., Assistant Secretary Lennard Constantine Serrano, Labor Arbiter Maria Consuelo Bacay, and other DoLE representatives. Also joining the meeting are representatives from IAC member agencies from the Office of the Executive Secretary, the Department of National Defense, the Department of Justice, the National Security Council, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, and the Philippine National Police. The Commission on Human Rights, the Civil Service Commission, and the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict were also present at the meeting.
