CEBU CITY — Malacañang has dismissed an administrative complaint filed by dismissed Cebu City mayor Michael Rama against Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia for lack of evidence.
Rama's complaint, submitted in March, alleged that Garcia abused her authority by ordering the stoppage of construction of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (CBRT) project along Osmeña Boulevard, which he argued constituted grave misconduct and an overreach into city affairs.
