19 killed as 2 MILF groups clash

AT least 19 were killed and five others were wounded when fierce fighting broke out between warring factions of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) over a land dispute in Pagalungan, Maguindanao del Sur Wednesday afternoon.

In his initial report, Lt. Col. Roden Orbon, spokesman of the Army's 6th Infantry Division said that fighting erupted between the group of the 105th Base Command, MILF led by Engr. Alonto Sultan and the combined group of the 128 Base Command and 129 Base Command led by Ikot Ahmad.
