AROUND 200,000 minimum wage earners in Region 6, or Western Visayas, stand to get P33 to P40 increase in their take-home pay effective next month following the approval by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) 6 of the wage hike in the region.

The daily minimum wage rates in the region now range from P485 to P513 in the nonagriculture sector and P480 in the agriculture sector.
