THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) is ready to provide emergency employment and livelihood assistance to some 6 million individuals affected by the recent onslaught of Tropical Storm Kristine.
Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said on Wednesday that the DoLE regional office, in coordination with local government officials in the Bicol Region, has already identified and profiled at least 83,000 beneficiaries in the provinces of Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay and Naga City, which are among the worst hit and badly damaged by Typhoon Kristine.
