PROF. Maria Minerva Calimag was conferred the Doña Victoria Ty Tan Professorial Chair in Medicine in a solemn investiture held at the Dr. George S.K. Ty Hall of the Bl. Buenaventura García Paredes, O.P. Building.
The academic chair is named after Doña Victoria Ty Tan, mother of the late philanthropist George S.K. Ty, founder of Metrobank.
