Eastern Visayas health workers sent to Bicol

TACLOBAN CITY — A team of physicians, nurses and allied health workers from Eastern Visayas Medical Center and the Department of Health (DoH) Eastern Visayas Center for Health Development was deployed to Bicol Region on Tuesday to provide medical assistance to those affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

Dr. Brian Marmita led a team of three physicians, five nurses, five drivers, and five other professionals who brought medical equipment and supplies to provide immediate medical care.
