MANILA, Philippines — San Beda University asserted its dominance over Jose Rizal University after an 83-70 win in the NCAA 100 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Tuesday.
Playing without bigs Bryan Sajonia, Bismarck Lina, and sniper Nygel Gonzales, San Beda led as much by 19 points, 74-55, on which the JRU could not recover from. James Payosing led the scoring for the Red Lions with 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
