TACLOBAN CITY — Mayor Jose Arturo "Joey" Suan of Allen, Northern Samar has dropped his bid for reelection in next year's local elections.
Northern Samar Gov. Edwin Marino Ongchuan told The Manila Times that Mayor Suan withdrew his candidacy last week and was replaced by his wife Kat Suan as the candidate for mayor.
