MassKara kiosks given 5-day extension

BACOLOD CITY — Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez announced the extension of the MassKara Festival until October 31 to aid kiosk tenants at the Bacolod Public Plaza who were affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

During his speech at the opening ceremony of the Elektroika Diva and Float Parade competition at the Bacolod City Government Center, Benitez expressed his support for kiosk renters, who have struggled to break even due to heavy rains affecting their sales at this year's festival.
