MANILA, Philippines — Almost a week after Severe Tropical Storm "Kristine" wreaked havoc in the country, its effects are still being felt in at least seven regions, particularly in the Bicol Region, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Based on the latest consolidated report submitted to DPWH Secretary Manuelo Bonoan, as of 12 noon on Tuesday, 12 national road sections are still closed to traffic due to flooding, collapsed road, flooding, silted pavement, landslide, fallen tree, damaged slope protection, washed-out guardrails and signages, soil erosion, soil/rock collapse and road slip.
