'FIND yourself in the Cordilleras' is the official tagline of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), composed of six provinces — Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province — and two cities, Baguio and Tabuk. This tagline invites travelers to explore the region's natural beauty and immerse themselves in its unique culture and traditions.

I often find myself drawn to the Cordilleras whenever I need to breathe in its cool mountain air, conquer its challenging peaks, or take a scenic drive along its winding mountain roads to admire its magnificent rice terraces. I was planning to do just that when I received an invitation from the CAR Regional Tourism Office to attend the 3rd Cordillera Festival of Festivals.
