Crossing the same river twice

STILL can't believe it's been 46 years since I first set foot on the Statue of Liberty Island, reading part of the poem by Emma Lazarus: 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free' unshackled from the chains of persecution and poverty.

The cruise from Battery Park navigates New York harbor, fed by the Hudson River. The ferry was then operated by the Circle Line. My ferry this year was with Statue Cruises.
