CLOSE to 300 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrived home from Lebanon on Saturday as part of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s directive to evacuate Filipinos amid a raging unrest in the Middle East.

Some 290 Filipinos — 233 OFWs and their 13 dependents; 21 overseas Filipinos and their 23 dependents — boarded government-chartered flight MYW9071, which took off at 2 p.m. (Lebanon time) on Friday.
