MANILA, Philippines — Reigning MVP Kevin Quiambao posted a new career-best 33 points as defending champ De La Salle stopped Ateneo, 80-65, to roll to its seventh straight win in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.
Quiambao, who shot 10-of-22 from the field including 5-of-11 from deep, also logged 12 rebounds, two assists, against five turnovers for a +10, topping his previous high of 29 points.
