MANILA, Philippines — Coach John Cardel had his own regrets after failing to steer Terrafirma to the Governors' Cup playoffs, a situation that led to management firing him as the team's bench tactician, effectively ending his six-year stint with the PBA franchise.
The 54-year-old Cardel compiled a losing record of just 30 wins in 143 games since he took over as the team's head coach in 2018.
