BACOLOD CITY — Severe Tropical Storm Kristine affected 6,797 residents in 15 local government units in Negros Occidental, and initially left P1.691 million damages in agriculture, a report from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management data show.

The report also said that 971 families composed of 3,319 members are still in evacuation centers.
