THE National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) in partnership with the Municipal Government of Taal and the Provincial Government of Batangas, will lead the simple commemorative rites for the 163rd birth anniversary of Leon Apacible on October 25, 8:00 a.m. at the Museo nina Leon at Galicano Apacible.

Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas will spearhead the flag-raising and wreath-laying rites. He will be joined by Taal Mayor Fulgencio Mercado, NHCP Representative Gina Batuhan, and an Apacible descendant, Melanie Anne Alcantara.
