by The Manila Times
Oct 24, 2024 10:21 pm
Members of the Manila Police District (MPD) Disaster and Response Unit prepare their boats on Oct. 24, 2024, as Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami), the Philippines’ 11th tropical cyclone for 2024, is affecting nearly the entire Luzon and Visayas, as well as parts of Mindanao. Kristine made landfall in Isabela early Thursday, October 24. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the severe tropical storm will subsequently cross Northern Luzon before emerging over the waters west of the Ilocos Region.
