MORE mental health awareness programs and a separate health subject in basic education are needed to address the well-being of students and the youth, especially those severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns.
This was the focus of discussion among academicians and educators, business and social civic leaders, and representatives of local government units (LGUs) gathered at Ang Bahay ng Alumni, University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, Quezon City in observance of World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10, 2024.
