Sara goes ballistic, BBM is unmoved

FIRST THINGS FIRST

IT took a lot of patience and coolness under stress for President Ferdinand 'BongBong' Marcos Jr. (BBM) to completely ignore Vice President Sara Duterte's harsh and intemperate threat, as reported in the press, to dig up the remains of the late former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani and throw them into the West Philippine Sea. She also said she sometimes imagined herself physically beheading the president.

All this appears to be the raving of a highly abnormal person. Former senator Leila de Lima, whom former president Rodrigo Durtete had jailed for years because of her opposition to his bloody drug war, found Sara's remarks a bit 'unhinged,' while several members of Congress were provoked into calling for some remedial sanctions. Some proposed that she be made to undergo a thorough psychological examination.
