Foreign loan approvals up 36% to $3.81B – BSP

APPROVED foreign loans of the government in the third quarter (Q3) totaled $3.81 billion, or 36 percent higher than the $2.81 billion in the same period last year, the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said in a report on Tuesday.

The amount, however, was lower than the $3.90 billion in the second quarter.
