Marina partners with French Embassy, OCEA to enhance shipbuilding industry

THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the French Embassy in Manila and OCEA SA Philippines to conduct a peer review of the shipbuilding and ship repair (SBSR) industry.

The MoA signed on Oct. 17, 2024, establishes a framework for collaboration among Marina, the French Embassy, and OCEA to assess the SBSR industry's policies and incentives implemented by the Philippines to support its growth.
