THE British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) extended its support to the recently passed laws, including the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act and Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (Afasa), while also looking forward to the passage of its other key priority legislation, such as the E-Governance Act and Cybersecurity Act.
In June 2024, the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council set its 28 priority bills to be passed within the 19th Congress. Among these bills is the E-Governance Act to institutionalize its transition to e-government through a whole-of-government approach and further enhance the delivery of programs and services to protect privacy, national security, workforce and other areas.
