BASED on Google's e-Conomy latest Southeast Asia report, the Philippines is poised to experience substantial growth in the digital economy by 2025, surpassing neighboring countries.

The report forecasts a double-digit increase in the digital economy by next year with e-commerce emerging as the largest contributor to this growth. In addition to e-commerce, other growth drivers include transport and food, online travel and online media.
