WHAT a way to celebrate its 100 years of participation in the Olympics — the Philippines posted its best finish at the 2024 Paris Games, the same city where the country started participating in the Olympics 100 years ago.
Two golds and two bronzes sent the Filipino nation, represented by 22 athletes, to joint 35th place, enabling the country to finish as the best Southeast Asian country for two straight Olympic editions.
