THE Sandiganbayan's Third Division found former Maguindanao OIC-governor Sajid Ampatuan guilty of graft and malversation over funds meant for farm-to-market roads (FMRs).
In a decision promulgated on Oct. 18, 2024, the court sentenced him to eight years and a month up to 12 years in prison as it found him guilty beyond reasonable doubt for violation of Section 3(e) of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
