FPJ Panday Bayanihan's Brian Poe has affirmed his commitment to advance animal welfare rights as pet ownership and adoption continue to rise in the country.
Poe said the party-list will help other stakeholders to monitor the continued animal cruelty in the countryside, including slaughtering and sale of dog meat, particularly in the mountain provinces.
