Legazpi City — Vice Governor Baby Glenda Ong-Bongao has assumed the post as acting governor of Albay on Monday following the six months preventive suspension imposed on Gov. Edcel Greco Alexandre Lagman by the Office of the Ombudsman due to jueteng payola bribery.
Bongao told The Manila Times that her office received a copy of the October 10, 2024 order from the Office of the Ombudsman on Monday.
