IT is easy to initially label Vice President Sara Duterte's unfortunate performance in her press conference as unhinged, a public meltdown. After all, only people who have been orphaned by a sense of propriety and reason would publicly tell everyone that she once thought of beheading President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

It is also easy to consider as temporary insanity her disclosure that she threatened Sen. Imee Marcos, one who is known to be a friend of the Dutertes, to personally dig up the body of President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. entombed at the Libingan ng mga Bayani and throw it into the West Philippine Sea, a sea that Duterte tried so hard to refrain from making a comment about.
