CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The 12 Mangyan children arrested in Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro on Friday were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for custody, the Occidental Mindoro provincial government said.
The 17 elders, who were also nabbed for trespassing at malicious mischief on the same day, remained under detention.
