THE New Era University Center for Community Extension and Linkages (NEU-CCEL), in cooperation with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-National Capital Region (DENR-NCR), held the first phase of the tree-planting and development projects at the La Mesa Watershed Reservation on Oct. 5, 2024.

NEU-CCEL director Mercedes Esmade, PhD, said that "the activity showcased the university's care for the environment by collaborating with the DENR-NCR in its National Greening Program (NGP) site in La Mesa Watershed Reservation."
