LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Taylor Pendrith was spared wind so strong it caused a four-hour delay and battered the field Friday (Saturday in Manila) in the Shriners Hospital Open.

The Canadian only had to play six holes and stayed in the lead before the second round was halted by darkness.
