SORSOGON CITY — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday expressed hope that the newly inaugurated Sorsogon Sports Arena would serve as a national training camp for athletes seeking international recognition, in line with the country's drive to increase the number of Olympic competitors.
In his speech during the inauguration of the Sorsogon Sports Arena, the President cited 1984 Olympian runner Isidro del Prado of Cagang, Barcelona, Sorsogon.
