ORMOC CITY, Leyte — The city government here is set to establish its first city-run hospital, Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez announced during her State of the City Address (SOCA) on October 14.

The hospital will be constructed in phases, with funds coming from the proposed 2025 budget, which includes a P2.7 billion allocation for various city projects and an additional P1.8 billion from the Congressional budget.
