AGRICULTURE Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. on Friday ordered the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) to fast-track the rollout of African swine fever (ASF) vaccines following good results from pilot sites.
Last month in Lobo, Batangas, more than three dozen hogs injected with the ASF vaccine from Vietnam developed sufficient antibodies against the virus.
