TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two human anthrax virus infection cases have been reported in Cagayan province as health and veterinary officials have intensified their monitoring in the affected area in Barangay Matalao, municipality of Sto. Niño, the provincial health office said on Wednesday.
The infected individuals are a 53-year-old man and his 25-year-old son. They were among the five people who butchered and ate a dead carabao in Barangay Matalao.
