TACLOBAN CITY — The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Philippine National Police (CIDG-PNP) in Eastern Visayas (Region 8) is conducting its own investigation on the possible entry of Chinese in Region 8 as Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).

Col. Arwin Tadeo, regional chief of the CIDG-PNP Eastern Visayas, told members of the Eastern Visayas Media Without Borders that his office is coordinating with the other intelligence groups in the region to find out if there are Chinese who are into running POGO in Leyte and Samar.
