MANILA, Philippines — The inter-tropical convergence zone, and the easterlies will prevail in most parts of the country where isolated and scattered rain showers will be experienced in 24 hours, the state-run weather agency said on Thursday.

Ben Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services (Pagasa) said there would be no tropical cyclone entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the coming days.
