EDUCATION Secretary Juan Edgardo Angara, in his 100th day in office, urged the business sector to support Philippine education.
"As a former legislator, my role was to come up with laws to correct the system. The President gave me the opportunity to turn those recommendations into results. Even before assuming office, my team and I were ranking and re-ordering DepEd's (Department of Education) challenges. In business and medicine, they call this 'triage.' We are reaching our 100 days. I have to tell you: We're already low on our red urgent tags," Angara said in his speech before the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Makati City on Wednesday.
