MANILA, Philippines — The international music scene is in mourning following news of the sudden passing of former One Direction band member turned solo artist, Liam Payne.

Payne, 31, died on Thursday (Manila time) after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, according to a statement from Argentine police.
