MANILA, Philippines — Senatorial aspirant Sonny Matula on Wednesday filed a petition to cancel the candidacy of controversial preacher Apollo Quiboloy.

Quiboloy's candidacy fell under the Workers' and Peasants Party (WPP) where Matula is a candidate.
