Global audio streaming platform Spotify revealed that Filipino music streams have quadrupled over the past five years.
Spotify's Philippines' Top 50 chart now comprises 75 percent local tracks. Pinoy Hip-Hop has seen a massive 600 percent increase in global daily streams over the past five years. Meanwhile, P-pop, experienced a 138 percent year-on-year increase in streams on Spotify in the past year alone.
