Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (Asa-Phil) president Jean Henri Lhuillier praised the resilience of Adamson University, which represented the Philippines in the Asian Universities Women's Softball Asia Cup 2024 in Taichung, Taiwan.

Adamson fought well but fell short against powerhouse Japan, 2-1, to open the tournament on Tuesday but bounced back with a 13-0 victory over Hong Kong on Wednesday.
