MAJORITY of Filipino voters have become familiar with the conduct of voting using election technologies in past national and local elections (NLEs). First-time voters, most of whom Gen Zs, who will participate in the 2025 NLE and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary elections, or BPE, will have the opportunity to learn more about the conduct of voting using similar election technologies.
The same type of ballot where candidate selection for each position will be done by shading the ovals to the left of the name of the candidates as those used in the last six NLEs will be used in the 2025 NLE and BPE.
