Patikul gains peace 47 years after fateful massacre

RETIRED Gen. Emmanuel Bautista said during the wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of the Patikul, Sulu massacre, which happened on Oct. 10, 1977, that it's inevitable to remember the incident, but what is important now is the future.
His father, the late Brig. Gen. Teodulfo Bautista, was killed along with 34 other soldiers in Patikul 47 years ago.
