THE Ford Expedition was discontinued in the Philippines in 2022, leaving a gap in the full-size SUV segment for the past two years. Now, with the 2025 Ford Expedition entering a new generation, is it time for the Blue Oval brand to bring this large SUV back to our market?

Though labeled as a new-generation model, this Expedition follows in the footsteps of the current Ford Everest and Ranger. That's because the 2025 Ford Expedition doesn't ride on a completely new platform. In fact, its side profile still echoes the outgoing generation's look. However, the front end of the new Expedition is entirely new, sporting a bolder fascia with a wider grille and C-shaped LED daytime running lights — now a signature design element on Ford's trucks and SUVs.
