Marcos accepts resignation of Napolcom commissioner

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has accepted the resignation of Edilberto Leonardo as commissioner of the National Police Commissioner (Napolcom), Malacañang confirmed on Monday.

In a letter to Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that Leonardo's resignation 'has been accepted effective immediately.'
