THE Asean Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) and Eton Properties Philippines signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sept. 27, 2024, marking ACB's 19th anniversary. The partnership aims to promote biodiversity conservation in real estate development by managing protected areas near development sites, preserving habitats, supporting local wildlife and enhancing disaster resilience through nature-based solutions.

ACB Executive Director Theresa Mundita Lim emphasized the importance of involving the private sector in biodiversity efforts. She highlighted that businesses play a crucial role in achieving the goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, as their actions significantly impact biodiversity.
