THE 13th Regional Travel Fair (RTF) in General Santos City was a huge success, generating P385.5 million in sales leads and P21.2 million in actual sales. Held from September 27 to 29, 2024, the event, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, showcased Soccsksargen's potential as a premier travel destination.

TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles highlighted the event's success, noting the growing interest in domestic tourism, especially in underexplored areas such as Soccsksargen. The RTF featured business-to-business or B2B sessions at Green Leaf Hotel, where 135 sellers and 50 buyers discussed partnerships and travel trends. Local tourism updates were also shared.
